Real Time Recordings

Live music from Asheville North Carolina

These are real time recordings made on the fly direct from the sound console, featuring public performances at the Biltmore Park Town Square® concerts, The Flat Rock Playhouse, Jack of the Wood music pub, and The Grey Eagle Tavern (live multi-track recording). I am also proud to be a sound part of the local contra dance communities for over 25 years. The Old Farmers’ Ball Contra dances are a Thursday night favorite.

For questions and information about live sound Reinforcement and real time recording services, this link: Alan Phillips Sound Service will take you to my audio production site.

Jack Of The Wood

Jack of the Wood Asheville, NC: “Where the Smoky Mountains meet the British Isles,” home to many talented musicians performing in an authentic Celtic pub setting. I recorded these tunes with an analog Mackie 1604-VLC Pro console to a transcend stereo wav recorder.
